Arbitration
Arbitration provides businesses with an effective mechanism for resolving complex commercial disputes while offering flexibility, confidentiality and procedural efficiency. Our Arbitration practice represents corporates, investors, financial institutions and businesses across sectors in domestic and international arbitration proceedings arising from commercial, contractual, infrastructure, investment and corporate disputes.
Overview
We advise clients throughout the arbitration lifecycle, including pre-dispute strategy, drafting and interpretation of arbitration agreements, appointment of arbitrators, interim relief, pleadings, hearings, settlement discussions and enforcement of arbitral awards.
Our lawyers assist clients in both institutional and ad hoc arbitrations and represent them in arbitration-related court proceedings, including applications for interim measures, appointment of arbitrators, challenges to arbitral awards and enforcement proceedings.
Experience
Our team has experience handling arbitration matters involving commercial contracts, corporate transactions, infrastructure projects, investment arrangements, construction disputes, shareholder disputes and other business-related matters.
We advise clients on developing effective arbitration strategies, preparing pleadings, managing evidence, coordinating with technical experts and pursuing remedies before arbitral tribunals and courts. Our approach combines legal expertise with an understanding of the commercial objectives driving each dispute.
We also advise on enforcement and execution of domestic and foreign arbitral awards, as well as proceedings relating to challenges and resistance to enforcement. Our focus is on achieving commercially effective outcomes while managing the strategic, procedural and financial considerations associated with arbitration proceedings.
